Social Media Mela to bridge Pakistan – India gaps

July 13th, 2012

One of the biggest features of previous century was the series of World War. A war that has taken countless lives and effected whole globe in every aspect.  The partition of India is said to be one of the effect of second world war. However, where participants of WWII decided to sit together and achieve collective peace and eventually made European Union,  Pakistan and India two newly engraved countries on world map developed a revelry that featured wars, conflicts, and tension.

Past is something that has gone and can not be changed but future can be, somehow this sense has emerged on the both sides of the border and there has been initiatives to take down the tensions, and bridge the gap between the people from both sides who might have different emotions towards the human across the border then what has been projected for so many years.

A Few Options for (Ex) PM Gilani

June 19th, 2012

yeh kya hua... kese hua.. kab hua... kion hua....

The so called “UN-expected” news came out and Supreme Court of Pakistan has said something to our Ex but still beloved Prime minister the same line that due to economic crunch many employers have heard from the mouth of their employers, “Your Services are NO MORE required”. Yes our Prime minister has to leave his post and PM house and ironically there is no one “who is stopping him”. Like every big news this also get response from the nation that is famous for wasting time on issues as well as no issues. While I was trying to learn “Storify” I made a test story on this incident but the best part is to me is the list of options Mr. Gilani have to spend his Post PM office time. in case you like the list the credit goes to me and in case you find it piece of crap get your sense of hummer tested.

You don’t need to be a doctor to save a life

December 10th, 2011

You don’t need to be a doctor to save a life“. This morning out of nowhere I read this line and that instantly reminded me the part of the verse number 32 of chapter 5 (Surat Al-Mai’dah) that says, “And if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the whole humanity”. It makes serving others and saving in order to save lives of the others a divine duty of us all. During the days of busyness with my dissertation and all I collected a great pile of unread emails, last night I came across to an email that was introduction of save life project. Since morning, I am trying to gain more information on this project.

Time for G+ing with Google+

July 2nd, 2011

Social media is one major part of my ongoing MSC Dissertation and therefore I have to keep an eye on the things going around. Two days back something big happened when highly anticipated Google+ came into scene and turned into wild fire. Almost everyone on the online world was talking about it. I believe it might be the only day in the history when such massive number of invitations spread around the globe. Google+ is not available for general public right now therefore one can jump into this ride only if someone receives an invite. I am thankful to Mr. Badar Khushnood, Country Representative of Google in Pakistan, for the invite. It took me sometime to make a profile on it and to have my hands on, because of it being over capacity, that shows the kind of fame it gained in no time.

I am Tested are you???

February 21st, 2011

It was getting dark for him, but it was not evening or night either. Nevertheless, the darkness was increasing with every single passing moment. He was unaware of what is going on may be there was some pain inside him. The time was over now the darkness covered everything and he was free from the pain now. The man in white lab coat standing near him shook his head and said, “I am sorry, he is no more with us”. Everyone started to cry and I only knew that my friend has died; he is no more with us to complete our cricket team, and for the computation for the results in exams. He died because of cancer, after some days I came to know about his cancer. This is not the story of my friend only every year almost 12 million falls prey of cancer, and there is a significant number of Pakistanis are there.

Zulu’s Strange Journey

November 8th, 2010

Zulqarnain Haider the person who played key role in last game to make Pakistan win and he was the hero of the moment that day. The same Zulqarnain, I gave him name – Zulu, was missing today and as per his fb status, he is doing all this as a result of life threat he received. Apparently, it is a journey from UAE to UK but from the corner of the book, I am looking at whole story it is not. It is a journey that started from UK and now has reached to the point where the leading character of the story is back in England. No idea where this story is going take him now, if this all is going to be a new turn in his career or his career is over. Time will decide all this, but still there are many questions about what happened this morning.
