Social Media Mela to bridge Pakistan – India gaps

One of the biggest features of previous century was the series of World War. A war that has taken countless lives and effected whole globe in every aspect.  The partition of India is said to be one of the effect of second world war. However, where participants of WWII decided to sit together and achieve collective peace and eventually made European Union,  Pakistan and India two newly engraved countries on world map developed a revelry that featured wars, conflicts, and tension.

Past is something that has gone and can not be changed but future can be, somehow this sense has emerged on the both sides of the border and there has been initiatives to take down the tensions, and bridge the gap between the people from both sides who might have different emotions towards the human across the border then what has been projected for so many years.

Siachen Tragedy – Not a Fiction but Reality this time

I have read many articles after the incidence of Gyari Avalanche tragedy. I have gone through different approaches; all of them are very well justified. I do not think there is anything left to write about it but I feel there are some Ideas and feelings yet to deliver, more homage to pay and some emotions to make up the already existing truths. Therefore, I am writing this just to make up, not to give any new dimension to the running debate about Gyari and Siachen incidence.

More Glory Came Home

In the hard times when Karachi is soaked in Blood, and threat of terrorsit attacks are always there, floods have hit Pakistan again. At this time every good news seems to be a blow of fresh wind. At the time when world has one preception about us and that is something that starts with a T and ends with T as well, there are many who are working to bring glory home and creating positive image of Pakistan in through out the world. Dr. Umar Saif who is professor at LUMS has been named the Top Innovater in TR35 by MIT. The other is UN Police Officer Shahzadi Gulfam, who brought International Female Peacekeeper award 2011 to Pakistan.
