Past 48 hours have been among the worst of my life totally nerve testing to get out of this I followed my old tip – walk alone. I decided to walk to my workplace rather than using the regular way. On my way, listening to music suddenly some known voice hit my ears; “Yaro Yehi Dosti hay“. And that reminded me of something that I forgot – I can never forget Junoon but I forgot that I was supposed to write a post to junoon. My favourite rock band that use to entertain and inspire me during my childhood and early boyhood years, who tamed a junooni in me at the time I hardly could understand the soul of their songs. However, when I was grown enough my favourite band was not there anymore. It is true that Yaro yehi dosti hay qismat se jo mili hy (it is friendship that we have earned out of luck). But alas, it did not last long; Junoon broke up and left us with many memories.

The Real Imran Khan appeared on Khabar-naak, talking about politics in the flavor of Khabar naak. no more commentary from me now so watch the videos:
Apparently, it was Pakistan Vs Canada, but interestingly it ended up in Lala, I mean our very own Shahid Khan Afridi, taking on overseas Punjab XI. As there was no proper Canadian in team Canada, similarly it was like there is no one else in the field from Pakistan as Mr Boom Boom showed back to pavilion to 6 Canadian, ooops sorry Overseas Punjabi batsmen. He took five wickets and hunted one with devastating throw ended up in a run out. Sadly, I do not have video of run out but what I have is interesting enough. In the video see how leg spins, flipper, googly and not to forget the lala’s speciality shooter, made fall of five men possible.
Initially I decided to write about the team announced for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Name it my laziness or any other thing I never been able to write about it, anyhow many other blogger fellows have done this job already, but there was one thing that was disturbing for me and with every single passing day it started to get more and more crucial? I guess it has been for the first time in Pakistani cricket that the team for the biggest event of the game has been announced and the leader of the team yet to be announced. Lobbying, grouping, double-crossing, has become part of the game for last two decades almost. After match-fixing, the course of grouping has destroyed cricket in Pakistan the most. We can see the same thing now. In an interview ex captain, Inzmam-ul-Haq said that team is divided in two parts and they are not going to play world cup they will show that who is in what group.
I am happy and so is the nation as the green shirts in the final of Asian games 2010 gained the gold and it has been for the first time after 1994 Men’s Hockey World Cup nation has tasted the pride of being the champion with regards to Hockey. During the Hockey World cup this recently this year I created a hash tag on twitter to show my support towards our national game #PkHockey since then I am using this to show my support for men in green shirts with a hope that one day we will rise to the top, and that day have arrived.
hmmm it took ten years in the whole for us to achieve it lords 21st June 1999 we lost the world cup final in the worst way any one ever had. During the match when we were loosing i asked someone “agar Pakistan haar gya to kuch ho ga to nahi” (what if Pakistan looses)i have never been able to get the answer of this question. But than i came to know why actions speak louder than words.
to me that loose was a nightmare for many hours after the match i was still thinking as if its a dream.
