Since the progress of ideas and innovations, Pakistan and its music industry has truly been extraordinary. The Best of 11 – Songs

Since the new year started I planned to start a series with the title of Best of 11 featuring some of the special events took place last year, 2011. here i am sharing songs that Pakistani Music Industry produced last year. They came, we listened, and they conquered. The second month of 2011 brought the circket fever with the circket world cup. Like every world cup this also brought some nice songs. One of them was Josh e Janoon a few called it 2011 version of famosu Jazba Janoon:

Redefining Identity: something that we need

Redefining Identity is something that Pakistan and Pakistani desperately need at this time. The 60% of the population has a duty on there shoulder and these men and women on duty are the Youth of Pakistan. There are few who are constantly trying to improve and heading to the target. The video below tells what youth in Lahore (Pakistan) doing to revolutionize and redefine the identity. I am thankful to FiveRivers Technologies who made this video and who are working to put Lahore on the global map. I shared this Video on my social networks and the kind of feedback I received in the form of a comment made me to write this post and thougt to keep this video at my favorite place online. Get well Soon…

Yesterday there have been a big news on TV that put me into the shock first and then made me a little sad too. That was the news of the heart attack that Abida Parveen faced this past weekend. She went through Angioplasty and now she is recovering well. I was sad because there are only few gems we have in Sufi music today, and I do not think we can afford to loose them. She is a real legend as she gave a style of her own to the sufi music and that became her USP.
