PTI Glasgow Jalsa and Fundraising Dinner

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has continued the ritual of conducting grand ‘Jalsas’ in different parts of the country and abroad. As a part of the ongoing promotional campaigns of PTI, Imran Khan and his team organized a Jalsa in Glasgow Marriot Hotel. The Glasgow Jalsa followed by a dinner in the evening, was a fund raising event for PTI and Khan’s Namal University.

World has turned into global village I agree with the statement but still this immense development cannot coup with when someone truly want to be at one place but is unable to because of the distance between the places he is at and the one he want to be. However still there are tools to cover this up but there is not any thing that is as good as being at a place in person. Change is About to be Unleashed

Change” the word that actually made it possible to see the world’s first-ever black man to live in white house. It is still debatable that what kind of change actually came in as the result of that slogan. However, this is not the reason to start the blog post. I am writing this to play my part in the change that is going to take place in Lahore this weekend.

All three TIE Chapters in Pakistan have is coming with one of a kind event with the tag line “Unleashing Change“. Tiecon2010 Pakistan, an event where change is going to be unleashed as a result of an interactive discussion and conference where members of tie are joining hands with the big names to make sure that something result oriented be done for entrepreneurial culture of Pakistan.

The event will start at 8 in the morning; here are more details and the agenda of the event. If you have not registered yet then go ahead and be the part of change, as today is the last date to get registered. In addition, all those people who are unable to be there in person like me Can catch the event at live stream.

Know Who to Blame

Last night when I was going to sleep, I was afraid. No my result was not being announced this morning, I was afraid of a progress report. Still that was not my progress report as an individual however it was the progress report of us all as a nation. I am talking about the report of transparency international. The time I, wakeups the report was out in the news. My fear was gone, as Pakistan ranked 34th most corrupt country of the world according to the report. 34th position that is far less then what I was expecting and afraid of. I was expecting to see the word Pakistan in top 20s. I am not saying this all as if I am against my own country. However I am saying this, all because I am angry the way my country is being run and first of all I am responsible for all this. » Read more: Know Who to Blame
