I Pay Tribute

It is indeed a unique moment for me when I am out of my words, when I do not have words to express what kind of feelings I have. The time when I am writing this is one of those unique moments, it is now matters for few hours that Pakistan will be celebrating its 64th birthday; it will be celebrating all those hard 64 years that this land has completed with its steadfast ability to bounce back after every tyranny of time. Today for the first time in my life I am not there with my Pakistan to celebrate that day, in fact I am far away that Pakistan will be celebrating the day 4 hours before I.The reason for me going out of words is the division that we have made among us, there are few who believe that there is no point in celebrating this day as this country never gave anything in return.

On the other hand, there are mad people like me who are gathering in the largest city of Pakistan to make the world record of most people singing national anthem. There are mad people like me who are out of their houses and helping all those in troublethose who have been hit hard by the waves. There are mad people who are defending this country in the freezing nights and burning days, they try their best to keep us safe, but still when something bad happens these mad people become our target of hate debate no matter how hard they might have tried.

There are mad people who lay their lives to raise the name of this country and then disappear in the list of all those forgotten heroes. Today I salute all those mad people who believe that there should be a difference in investment and patriotism, as return is something that be taken care of in case of investment patriotism is a feeling of a mad aficionado who want to see its beloved country standing tall no matter what cost he has to pay for that.

Today I pay tribute to all those mad formers who earned us green revolution twice, who grew even when circumstances create hurdle, all those “Paindoo” people who remain the reason for urban people to enjoy the outcome of the crops that they cultivated. I pay tribute to all those workers who are working day and night for their cause making no difference in their blood and sweat just for reaching their target. I pay tribute to all those mad people who are, somehow, making the jammed wheel of our economy to keep running.

I pay tribute to all those teachers who are spreading the glittering knowledge in the darkness, all those students who are working for their goals in the light of candle or whatever means when there is 18-20 loads heading. I pay tribute to all those “bhooky nangy Muhajirs” who lost everything to reach here who worked for the cause of Pakistan, I pay tribute to all those “3500 innocents” who lost their lives in terrorists’ attacks, I pay tribute to all those innocents  who lost their lives and their homes in drone attacks.

I pay tribute to everyone from the traffic constable standing in the middle of the road, no matter what weather condition it is and performing his duty with determination, to the sports stars that bring gold to the name of country. I pay tribute to all those 180 million fellow Pakistanis for making this country the land of braves. no mater you realize it or not you love this country or not or you are “mad” or not you are brave because you are related to the country that made its name in every field it stepped in no matter how hard computation was.

If you see the problems in this country than “mad man” like me see the solutions, there is no problem in this country if we follow one solution and that one solution is to purify our intentions, our wills, and devotions because scattered preferences is the only major problem of our country.

In the end, I pay tribute to my motherland that has been kind enough to accept us all even when we do not care. I pay tribute to Pakistanmy land Pakistan. Happy Birthday the land of pure, happy Independence Day to the country of brave.

Pakistan Zindabad.
